Call for Abstracts
The Programme Committee invites abstracts for the ALAC Working Together Conference 2010.
The Conference theme is: Time for Action
The sub-themes to be considered for contributions are:
- The law and enforcement – the changing environments
- Community action – communities taking action
- Joining the dots across the issues – health, transport, crime and violence, family violence, water safety...

Submitted Abstracts
Abstracts of no more than 300 words may report the results of completed research, describe research in progress, or present a position on an issue related to the conference themes.
Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to attend the conference and will be given 20 minutes to present their papers with 5 minutes for questions.
The deadline for submission of completed papers is Friday 30 April 2010.
Posters
Posters may use graphics, tables, or charts, but must not exceed the space of 594x841 mm. Lap top computers and visual display devices may be used if the author provides them. Authors should submit an abstract not exceeding 300 words. Authors of accepted posters are expected to attend the conference.
The deadline for submission of abstracts for papers and posters is Monday 29 March 2010. Authors will be notified of acceptance by Wednesday 14 April 2010.
Selection Criteria
The Programme Committee will evaluate the content of abstracts for relevance to the conference themes, clarity, originality, and timeliness.
